Perfect Armor

This works for everything, basically, just put same level items together (to know, just put it in an anvil and rename it (no need to really rename it, just check how much level it costs) and if something costs 2 level to rename, combine it with something that also costs 2 level to rename)

Making the best armor in Minecraft 1.14

With the 1.14 update of Minecraft, you can make an armor with every available protection enchantment. This makes superior than the ones we were able to make prior to 1.14.

The problem with armor enchantment is that you typically get the well known "Too expensive" label if you add too many enchantments. Now being in 1.14, ways around this problem exist. Here is a tutorial that was tested and works if you follow each point.

Requirements :

The Armor
You can make it out of any material, but the best material to use a Diamond Armor, so you need each piece for maximum effectiveness unless you have an Elytra in which case you don't need the chestplate.
Enchanted Books
These you get from a villager or in a structure chest. The only important thing is to only use books that are at max level. I would recommend not to combine 8 books, for example Protection Is to get a Protection IV because you can get them from enchanting a book with the Enchanting Table, but I can't tell you if it will still work.
A lot of XP
You need about 250 levels in total if you do it correctly.
Anvils

Enchanted Books needed :

  • 4 Protection IV
  • 4 Fire Protection IV
  • 4 Blast Protection IV
  • 4 Projectile Protection IV
  • 4 Unbreaking III
  • 4 Mending
  • 1 Respiration III
  • 1 Aqua Affinity
  • 1 Feather Falling IV
  • 1 Depth Strider III (Can also be a Frost Walker II book)

Before Starting

Piece of Armors can be enchanted any way you want, but the enchants have to be placed in the desired order for it to work (you can make Chestplate before Boots, but don't put Mending before Protection IV if you want 100% success)

You can see in the steps under that I decided to add the Enchanted Book I just made by combining two on the Armor Piece, remember that you can put them all on the Armor when you finished all books, just combine them in the same order as you made them

Don't use the enchanted armor before finishing the enchanting process, or the costs may change

Remember that renaming the Armor Piece while adding the last book costs only 1 level, so if you want to rename them, do it after you add the final book
